To open the panels for the beam stabilization, open the Laser panel from the Furka UI.

  • Open "ESF FBK" (bottom right hand of panel)

  • The 2 Camera Feedback (cameras 801 and 802) is for the incoming beam for the TOPAS.

  • The 1 Camera Feedback (camera 803) is the last mirror to send the near IR to the purging box.

  • Picomotor Sys is for the white light.

  • To control the panel, you must be logged in through the machine. In a terminal:

ssh -Y yourname_a@sf-gw ssh -X sf-cons-27 caqtdm SLAAT01-L-Plan.ui & - launches the laser panel

  • Once the beam is where you want it to stay, click the button Fit->Req (deltaX and deltaY should go to zero).
  • To turn on the stabilization click the box next to the panel you want to stabilize (e.g. here showing stabilization feedback is enables for the Picomotor (of the white light).
