For fast file searches we can use locate but that uses a local index that does not include for example /sf/cristallina/.

Here fzf (https://www.redhat.com/sysadmin/fzf-linux-fuzzy-finder) is a great find replacement and allows tab completion using the ** syntax (when enabled in bash profile, already done for gac-cristall).
