Central Journal Server ( systemd-journal-remote)
The systemd-journal-remote daemon allows you to collect Journal logs from multiple other source Journal instances.
Journal Remote (server)
To start systemd-journal-remote needs
journal::remote::enable: true
The default configuration for the directory setup where the received log is saved is
journal::remote::directory: '/var/log/journal/remote'
journal::remote::directory::owner: 'systemd-journal-remote'
journal::remote::directory::group: 'systemd-journal-remote'
For transport per default http is used, but this can also be changed to https:
journal::remote::https::enable: true
journal::remote::https::key: ...
journal::remote::https::cert: ...
journal::remote::https::ca_chain: ...
Journal Upload (client)
On the client side the service is called systemd-journal-upload and it is configured with
journal::upload::enable: true
journal::upload::url: ...
Then there are some certificate options if required:
journal::upload::client_key: ...
journal::upload::client_cert: ...
journal::upload::server_ca: ...
