In rugnux people choose the algorithm, not where it runs. -X fft (and the old -F) now resolves at parse time to the GPU FFT indexer where a GPU is visible and --no-gpu is not given, and to FFTW otherwise. -X cufft is the GPU implementation alone, as -X fft was. -X cufft and -X ffbidx without a GPU now stop at once with a clear message instead of failing later in the indexer pool. Auto is unchanged and not redundant: on stills with a known cell and a GPU it takes FFBIDX. Only rugnux's CLI spelling changes. The internal IndexingAlgorithmEnum, the broker and its OpenAPI enum keep FFT = the GPU implementation; the CLI maps onto it, and the command line the viewer writes for a run (RugnuxCommandLine) gives the enum's FFT back as -X cufft, which re-parses to the same thing. A run without -X, and -X fft on a machine with a GPU, process exactly as before. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
