This organisation contains the MIDAS driver code maintained by LIN. The drivers are used to built instrument-specific frontends, see https://gitea.psi.ch/lin-midas-frontends. Most of the drivers also have a default frontend (e.g. for testing).

In general, drivers should be as generic as possible and not reference any particular setups at specific instruments. The configuration of a device driver for a specific instrument is done in the frontends.
Variant of https://gitea.psi.ch/lin-midas-drivers/midas_lan_gpib which regularily polls the device to see if the answer is available.
