Conclusions:

- Markdown links that refer to source files are replaced by the

|
baseurl + permalink
|
|
- This happens for both normal links and images
|
|
- Workarounds
|
|
- Link to permalink directly (for pages/posts)

- Can use `{%raw%}{{"path"}}{%endraw%}` pattern to disable expansion |
