For each experiment proposal that is accepted there is a so called pgroup, a Unix group that will manage the access to the data (proposals are managed in https://duo.psi.ch). For each pgroup there will also be a so called eaccount that can be used to collect data when a beamtime is scheduled. There is a one to one mapping of eaccount and pgroup.
The beamline/endstation experimental accounts do exist in the special LDAP tree: OU=Users,OU=Experiment,OU=IT,DC=d,DC=psi

The pgroup can and will hold additional accounts that are related to that proposal. These additional accounts can be added in DUO and must be used to access and analyze the data after the data is collected.
