# Encoder evidence

Use this folder for project-specific evidence about the stage encoder and its interface. Preserve source files and record the exact model, revision, resolution, scaling, and interface details from traceable sources.
|
|
|
|
Include relevant manufacturer documentation, configuration records, and calibration or measurement evidence when available. Distinguish encoder resolution and configured scaling from measured minimum incremental motion, repeatability, accuracy, and measurement uncertainty.
|
|
|
|
The report instructions are in [`../Report/AGENTS.md`](../Report/AGENTS.md). The report image for the encoder belongs in `../Media/` as `I2` with a supported image extension; do not substitute a different component image.
