+# Unix Group Management
+
+Users can be added to a unix group by this workflow:
+[SSH Gateway - User Guide](https://linux.psi.ch/services-user-guide/unix_groups.html)
+
+The administrators registered for a group will get an approval request email. Uppon approval the user will be automatically added to the group.
+
+You can also add users on their behalf. If you are one of the admins of the groups the request will be automatically approved (no need to approve it additionally)
+

+The member as well as the administrators of the group can be found here:

+If there are no administrators marked, the helpdesk will get the approval request.
+
+To remove users from a group create a general Service Now ticket.
