Microsoft Teams

Official Teams Client

There is no Microsoft Teams client package that you can install on Linux. The official client provided by Microsoft is a PWA (Progressive Web App)

For this to work you need an up-to-date browser on your linux system. To "install" the app simply point your browser to: https://teams.microsoft.com and afterwards you should have the full teams functionality available.

Unofficial Microsoft Teams Client

But there is with Teams for Linux an unofficial client for Teams which basically packs a browser engine and the PWA together an integrates them neatly into the Linux desktop.

We have good experience with it and preinstall it on our RHEL workstation systems. For other Linux systems you may install it yourself, check out above link for the options. The probably easiest way to get the latest version is installing it from Flathub with Flatpak.
