<h2><a name="Special_commands">Special commands</a></h2>
|
|
MAD recognises the following special commands:
|

<dt><em>set title ...</em>
|
|
<dd>Sets the title string (up to 72 characters) to be written to the data
|
|
file header.
|
|
<dt><em>set user ...</em>
|
|
<dd>Sets the experiment user's name (6 characters).
|
|
<dt><em>set local ...</em>
|
|
<dd>Sets the local contact's name (6 characters).
|
|
<dt><em>set xou 0</em>
|
|
<dd>Turns off the log file.
|
|
<dt><em>set xou 1</em>
|
|
<dd>Turns on the log file.
|
|
<dt><em>! ...</em>
|
|
<dd>Any command line beginning with <em>!</em> will be ignored (comment).
|
|

I think that the "set xou" commands should not be used any more.
|
|
They seem to have been
|
|
superseded by the <a href="tasmad.html#LOG">log</a> command.
