a23631a8ca fix bug related to PVStructurePtr createPVStructure( 
StringArray const & fieldNames,PVFieldPtrArray const & pvFields);
The old implementation created a new version of each element of pvField.
The new version uses the version from pvFields.
There is a new shared pointer but the new shared pointer referenced the
same PVField as the original.

1abdde0c3d fixes for windows xp sp3 sdk 7.1, typedefs for non-portable types, removed variable-length stack allocated arrays in tests, fixed inconsistent timeFunction interface declaraion, replaced variable-length stack allocated array in with std::vector in PVStructure factory as it is followed immediately by further heap allocation 2011-09-16 09:04:00 +01:00

3a00b879ee Added a new method to PVDataCreate that allows a PVStructure to be created from a PVField array where the elements have a null parent. 
PVField::message was changed to pass the message to the top level field adding the field name at each level.

f6c9b0eea3 1) implemented noDefaultMethods. See effective C++ Item 6. There it is called Uncopyable 
2) implemented Lock. See effective C++ item 14.
     This is as easy to use as Java synchronize.
3) wrapper on top of std::string. All usage of string in pvData is one of:
      String - Just a std::string
     StringBuilder - Used where StringBuilder is used in Java
     StringConst - Just a "std::string const". This is used wherever String is used in Java
     StringConstArray - Just like a String[] in Java.
4) The reference counting (incReferenceCount and decReferenceCount) are now private. It is completely handled by the implenentaion.
    NO code that uses pvData needs even know about reference counting.
