The encoder readout is triggered by an TTL pulse.
Unfortunately, TTL triggers to the encoder can only be accepted with at least 12.5ms time between rising/falling edges. Therefore, maximum readout has to be ~25Hz, rather 30Hz (experimentally determined).
Socket commands for the readout:
