We are migrating away from Jekyll, and will use MkDocs to generate our user documentation. Main advantages:

  • a lot less tinkering (Materials for MkDocs provides almost everything we could want)
  • Materials UI is fresh, responsive, and actively developed, unlike the Jekyll Docu theme
  • and more reasons..

Question: Should we not keep the old HPCE logo? The wizard looks cool, but maybe rather for the Merlin page?
I think our group logo (originally made by Spencer) looks more professional and has a context with our organizational group

Yup, I've changed it back and have moved the merlin image to the merlin7 pages

* added back the HPCE logo to landing page
* activated the sticky tabs navigation feature (so navigation bar stays
  visible)
* added edit buttons to content (so users can _maybe_ help us in keeping
  our docs up to date)

add latest new section to frontpage 1882fbf76b 
We use a custom override template (jinja) to generate a suitable list of
new items.

Also added first text for announcing our new user docs
